For my Project 2, I analyzed the rhetorical strategies implemented in two artifacts, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, which was a nonfiction novel written by Rebecca Skloot, and the video AMA Leadership on Health Equity, released by the American Medical Association, which included the appeal of pathos and ethos to inform their respective audiences about racial disparities in the American healthcare system. I also compared both artifacts' tone and organization and how this affected the author or speaker's purpose.
